Allah , Most Wise says "...whoever witnesses the Month of Ramadan should fast through it..." Quran(2:185)
The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) is reported to have said:"... whoever fasts during Ramadan out of sincere faith and hoping to attain Allah's rewards, then all his past sins will be forgiven." (Sahih Al-Bukhari).
